South Park Soup Kitchen

I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to go to a soup kitchen near me. Upon arriving and finishing the meal preparation, we offered to seat residents and then proceeded to sit and have a meal with them, something that is a rarity for them. We opened our minds and hearts to the people we were serving and had meaningful conversations, learning to appreciate what we have and to value positivity and a good attitude for the people we ate with. This excursion is a mindful way to begin my Thanksgiving season.
