West Hartford Rotary Club Event

Today the West Hartford Rotary club was able to make over 10,000 meals! I am so happy that I got to help them by organizing this event for them and leading them through the process of making a sustainable change with Rise Against Hunger. Out of the 40 college students that came to the event, almost all of them had never heard of Rise Against Hunger and they all had a great time making meals. This group was extremely efficient and with only three assembly lines we made all the meals in a little over an hour and a half. I am so impressed with the energy and ambition of the group and hope that they also could feel the positive change they were making. Pictures of the event are below! Thank you The Village for the venue and the West Hartford Rotary Club for making this happen!
